Vacková, Michaela ; Kročová,, Šárka (referee) ; Polešáková, Marie (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (referee) ; Kopáčik, Gabriel (advisor)
One of the main challenges in promoting rainwater management into practise is the fact that it was not recognized as an interdisciplinary issue. We should seek ways how to open the problem to other professions, specially for architects and urban planners, who are the key element of its farther development. This work analyzes the reasons of this unsatisfactory state of rainwater management in the Czech Republic and it defines the possible ways how to remedy this state and outlines scenarios of its further development. The default document of the work is czech technical standard "TNV 75 9010 Hospodaření se srážkovými vodami". The new methodological guide, which is part of this work, is based on it. The work extends the range of measures which are mentioned in the standard. It brings new ways for assessing the benefits of the various measures to streamline the application of rainwater management measures in urban space.

A View on Reflection in Nursing and Social Work Education
Čajko Eibicht, Monika ; Lorenz, Walter (advisor) ; Brnula, Peter (referee) ; Vacková, Jitka (referee)
In times of dynamic social changes and uncertainty, reflective practice becomes crucial for social work and nursing. This dissertation examines the epistemological foundations and the multidimensional nature of reflection within professional education from various theoretical perspectives tested through original empirical findings, which aim to prevent the reduction of reflection to a mere technique and instead promote dialogue, interdisciplinary cooperation, and participatory methods. Drawing on phenomenological and critical constructivist approaches deepens the understanding of educators' individual and collective experiences and reflective practices. The structure of the thesis corresponds to three empirical phases. The first phase investigates the characteristics of reflection and its developmental potential using SRIS and PHLMS questionnaires. The second phase, encompassing reflexive thematic analysis of interviews, addresses educators' views on reflection and their methods of promoting reflectivity among students. In the third phase, the work employs Q methodology to process and analyze various perspectives on reflection among educators. This method, still underutilized in the Czech context, allows for a deeper examination of the subjective aspects of educational practice. The participation...

Early care in the light of coordinated rehabilitation
HAVLOVÁ, Jana
Early care is a field social service, which provides necessary help and support to parents with a handicapped child. It offers the family many options and, besides other things, valuable advice about the correct early care of a child with a disability. Early care is very important and it needs to be provided within a multidisciplinary team of experts. Nevertheless, cooperation with doctors and with especially paediatricians is not ideal and sometimes, unfortunately, not even real.Qualitative research was chosen to achieve the aims of this diploma thesis. As a method of data collection, the method of questioning was chosen, which took place with individual informants using semi-structured interviews. The data were processed by the technique of grounded theory using three-step coding and determination of grounded statements. The data, which complements the whole empirical part of the diploma thesis, were graphically represented in the ATLAS.ti software programme. The analysis of the data revealed that early care workers consider cooperation in coordinated rehabilitation to be an important part of their professional activities. The results revealed that there are a total of seven early care providers in the South Bohemian Region who have different experiences of cooperation with individual professionals, doctors, and paediatricians. The biggest problem of early care is a difficult establishment of cooperation with paediatricians, who do not refer their patients' parents to the use of early care services. On the contrary, some early care workers revealed that there are also collaborations with medics that are very good and beneficial. Within the bounds of coordinated rehabilitation, early care also cooperates with other entities with which they have very well-established cooperation. This diploma thesis may serve as an informative material not only for early care providers but also for the paediatricians themselves, other health professionals, professionals, or other entities.
Mental health support and activation of people with mental illness from the point of view of a special pedagogue
Cimbálová, Lucie ; Janyšková, Kristýna (advisor) ; Bartoňová, Miroslava (referee)
This thesis focuses on the forms and methods of support for individuals with mental illness aimed at helping them to return to normal life. The individual chapters of the thesis deal with the historical milestones of the emergence of psychiatry, the classification of mental illness and quality of life issues. Therefore, the most used therapeutic methods and strategies of working with clients are defined in the text, which lead to the adoption of appropriate daily habits, improvement of mental health and thus quality of life. The work also focuses on interdisciplinary cooperation, which, in addition to medicine, permeates other disciplines, namely psychology, social work and special education. The topic of my research is timely as an increasing number of people with mental illness are seeking professional help. Therefore, all team members should have sufficient knowledge of the symptomatology and nature of each psychiatric diagnosis. In order for interdisciplinary collaboration to be meaningful, the competencies of the individual professionals must be clearly defined. This creates an interconnected set of services aimed at making the person's integration into society and everyday life as easy as possible. Stehlíková, Petra ; Pěnkava, Pavel (advisor) ; Dragomirecká, Eva (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of people without a regular dwelling in terms of social service administration in Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of a general description of homelessness and explanation of the current model of provided services. It also mentions non-governmental organizations providing social care for the homeless in Prague and describes the help from the state administration. The next part explores 2 conceptions focused on tackling homelessness and discusses how they are currently met. It was also necessary to mention foreign experience of solving this problem. Interdisciplinary cooperation is an important chapter because homeless care is not only based on the provision of outpatient services, such as food, hygiene, clothing, or on the provision of residential services. Cooperation with other actors such as physicians (psychiatrists, dentists, gynecologists) is also necessary for the services to be provided comprehensively and to be able to respond to all the needs of the homeless. The research part maps the sufficiency of the services for the homeless people from their point of view and tries to find out what services they lack in Prague. The aim of the research is to determine whether the current services in Prague are sufficient, whether it is...
